Terms of service

These terms apply to your use of this website and to any order you place with us. Please read them before ordering. By placing an order you agree to them.

1. Who we are

This store is operated by Aurevia, a sole trader based in the United Kingdom. You can contact us at any time by email at hello@aureviastore.co.uk and we aim to reply within one working day. This store is powered by Shopify.

2. Our products

We have made every effort to describe our products accurately and to show them fairly. Colour and finish can look different depending on your screen, and light output photographs differently to how it looks in a room, so small variations are normal.

Specifications quoted on a product page are those supplied by the manufacturer. We do not add figures we cannot substantiate. If a specification turns out to be wrong, tell us and we will correct it and put your order right.

All of our lighting is solar, battery or USB powered, or low voltage supplied with a UK plug. Nothing we sell is intended to be wired into a fixed electrical installation.

3. Orders

When you place an order you are making an offer to buy. A contract is formed only when we send you an order confirmation email. We may decline or cancel an order, for example if an item is out of stock, if there was a pricing error, or if we cannot deliver to your address. If we do, we will tell you and refund you in full.

Our products are sold for personal and household use, not for commercial resale.

4. Prices and payment

Prices are in pounds sterling. We are not currently VAT registered, so no VAT is charged and no VAT invoice can be issued.

Prices can change at any time, but the price you pay is the price shown when you place your order and confirmed in your order confirmation email. Any delivery charges are shown at checkout before you pay.

If we discover a genuine pricing error before dispatch, we will contact you and give you the choice of paying the correct price or cancelling for a full refund.

5. Delivery

Delivery estimates shown on the site and at checkout are estimates, not guarantees. Orders are dispatched within 1 to 2 working days, and delivery within the United Kingdom then usually takes 5 to 10 working days. Deliveries outside the UK take longer, depending on the destination and its customs processing. Full detail is in our Shipping Policy.

If your order has not arrived within 30 days of the date we confirmed it, contact us and we will either resend it or refund you. Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery.

6. Cancellations and returns

You have the right to cancel within 14 days of delivery under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, and we offer 30 days as a matter of policy. Full details are in our Return and Refund Policy.

7. Product safety and correct use

Please follow the instructions supplied with your product. Outdoor products are weather rated only to the IP rating stated on the product page. Do not modify a product, replace its power supply with a different one, or use it in a way it was not designed for. We are not liable for damage or injury caused by misuse, modification, or installation contrary to the instructions. Keep small parts and batteries away from children.

8. Intellectual property

The content of this site, including text, product descriptions, layout and design, belongs to us or to our licensors. You may not copy, republish or use it commercially without our written permission. Product images may be supplied by our manufacturers and remain their property.

9. Our liability

We do not exclude or limit our liability where it would be unlawful to do so. This includes liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, and for any breach of your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

Subject to that, we are not liable for losses that were not foreseeable, or for business losses such as loss of profit or loss of business opportunity, as our products are sold for personal and household use.

10. Third party links

Where this site links to other websites, those sites are not under our control and we are not responsible for their content or their policies.

11. Privacy

We handle your personal information in line with our Privacy Policy, which explains what we collect and why.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version that applies to your order is the version published on this page when you placed it.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and any dispute will be subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland you may also bring proceedings in your own jurisdiction. Nothing here removes any protection you have as a consumer under the law of the country where you live.
