Will this work with my existing fittings?
Most of our indoor pieces use standard fittings. The exact fitting is listed in the product details, so check there before you order.
Can I use it outside?
Anything in the outdoor range is weather rated. Indoor pieces are not, so keep those under cover.
Is it dimmable?
Dimmable pieces are marked in the product details. If it is not marked, treat it as fixed output.
Clips Where Screws Cannot
The sprung clip grips a fence panel, a gutter edge, a balcony rail or a shed lip without a single hole drilled. It moves with you if you change your mind about where it should live.

Frequently Asked Questions
Does it need any drilling?
No. It clips on, so a fence panel, gutter lip, balcony rail or shed edge all work. That also means you can reposition it in seconds if the first spot is wrong.
How does the sensor behave?
It uses infrared sensing and brightens when someone comes close. We have no confirmed detection range or angle, so we are not going to quote one. Buyers typically report it picking people up from a few metres.
Where should I mount it?
Somewhere the solar panel gets direct sun during the day and the sensor faces the route people actually walk. Panel to the sky, sensor to the path.
Can I leave it out all year?
With one caveat. It is rated IP44, which covers splashing rain but not driving rain or jet spray, so it belongs under a porch, an overhang, a shed eave or a balcony rather than fully exposed. For an open position in a British winter, the Sentry and the Beacon are both IP65.
Is it bright enough for security?
It is a courtyard and pathway light rather than a floodlight. Good for a doorway, a bin store, a side return or a set of steps, not for lighting a whole driveway.

Specifications and full description
What it does
A solar light that clips wherever you need it and brightens when someone is there. The sensor is infrared, so it picks up a person approaching and lifts the output, which means light where you actually need it rather than floodlighting the whole garden from dusk to dawn.
No drilling
The sprung clip grips a fence panel, a gutter edge, a balcony rail, a shed lip or a pergola beam without a single hole. That matters if you rent, if the fence is not yours, or if you simply want to try a spot before committing to it. Moving it somewhere better takes seconds.
Nothing to wire, nothing to pay
The polycrystalline panel on top charges through the day, filling in around eight hours of direct sunlight, and the sensor takes over after dark. There is no cable to run along a fence, no plug and nothing added to the electricity bill.
One honest caveat on weather
This one is rated IP44, not IP65. That means splashing rain from any direction is fine, but driving rain and jet spray are not. Put it under a porch, a gutter overhang, a shed eave or a balcony rather than fully exposed on an open fence panel. If you need something that will take whatever a British winter throws at it in an open position, look at the Sentry or the Beacon instead, both of which are IP65.
Where it works best
Doorways, bin stores, side returns, steps, sheds and back gates. Mount it so the panel sees the sky and the sensor faces the route people actually walk. It is a courtyard and pathway light rather than a driveway floodlight, so pick the spot accordingly.

super bright light. It holds well on the clip. I am satisfied. I recommend it.
C
I am very satisfied with the purchase. The lamp is very bright and the motion sensor works perfectly. Since the sun rarely shines, I can't comment on the battery life yet. Thank you very much!

P

J
Nice solar-rechargeable led light that can be clipped into place. Comes with a bracket and screws (with wall anchors). Pleasant white light at three intensity levels
R
I have purchased similar lights before, but they broke quickly, so I was hesitant to buy another one. However, this time, I was really attracted by the price and the fact that it can be easily attached anywhere, so I decided to give it a try. It's really easy to attach and still shines beautifully, making me feel safe at night. Thank you very much.
L
A revelation. They work perfectly and the candle is mounted at a height of about 3 meters. Very bright white LED light. Easy to install. I recommend it.

I thought it would be for the garden fence, so I tried buying a clip-style one for the first time. It's bright for its small size.

very good fast transaction.
F
Brilliant design - no fiddly bits and wires! I like the clip mechanism the most (laundry clip type but very sturdy). Didn't have to drill holes in the fence or wall - just grabbed it and done. It holds very steady. It's perfect if you want to move the lighting to different places as needed. It shines brightly and the sensor responds instantly. Brilliant design – no drilling or cables! What I like most is the clip mechanism (like a clothes peg, but very sturdy). I didn't have to drill holes in the fence or wall – I just clipped it on and that was it. It's very stable. It's ideal if you want to move the lighting to different places as needed. It shines brightly and the sensor reacts instantly.
R
The lights work well and they are nice and bright and as soon as you get close to the light it comes on straight away i am happy with the product
M
It's a simple installation because it's a fan type. Of course, it also came with a fixing piece so it can be fixed to the wall. The light comes on well and operation is simple. Since it hasn't rained yet, I don't know how waterproof it is.
Y
Order received very quickly, consistent with the description, good communication. I highly recommend this product and seller.
